Jerusalem

We arrived in Israel on October 19 as the Jews were celebrating Hoshana Rabbah and the exchange of over 1000 Palestinian prisoners-of-war for 1 of their own. This poster is about Gilad Shalit, the Israili soldier.

We entered Old Jerusalem on the east side through Lions Gate.

The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Christian Quarter. This is the site dedicated to Christ's crucifixion or Calvary, the place of His burial or Sepulcher and Christ's Resurrection.
